Small pictures have landed online of the Star Wars Marathon Dooney & Bourke bags, of which there will be three. They are very tiny and hard to see any real details when blown up as the pics get blurry.
What can be seen on the Star Wars Dooneys is that there appear to be faces of different characters from the films and visible are Yoda, C-3PO, Darth Vader, and others.

Unsure of the size, but in general Disneyland races are smaller than WDW races. Best guess is 12,000-15,000 runners in the half marathon alone.
With anything Star Wars though, expect a crowd! Especially at the expo where Star Wars gear will be on sale!
