Mickey’s Fun Wheel Renamed To Pixar Pal-A-Round At Disney California Adventure

The transformation of Paradise Pier into Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure is ongoing until this summer’s opening date, but it’s coming along nicely. It is now known that when the new/old section opens, Mickey’s Fun Wheel won’t only have a new look, but a new name as well.

Pixar Pier is set to open on June 23, 2018, and when it does, the neighborhood will have an entirely different look.

Mickey’s Fun Wheel is going to still have the giant face of Mickey Mouse on it, but it will no longer showcase his name. Starting this summer, it will be called the Pixar Pal-A-Round and feature characters from hit movies such as Coco, Inside Out, Cars, The Incredibles, Toy Story, and more.

Each of the 24 gondolas will have pairs of Pixar pals to take the high and exciting ride into the California sky with you.
