We’ve all heard of the dessert parties that take place before the fireworks, but Walt Disney World has come up with a new one that’s a bit different. Now, there will be the “After Fireworks Dessert Party” which is set to begin at Magic Kingdom on May 28, 2018.
Guests will be able to enjoy the spectacular fireworks high above Cinderella Castle by watching from a special viewing area in the Plaza Garden. After Happily Ever After concludes, they will head into Tomorrowland Terrace to enjoy desserts and other treats inspired by the lands of Magic Kingdom.
“On the menu for this sweet experience are treats inspired by each of the lands of Magic Kingdom Park. Among the offerings are the S’mores Action Station (Frontierland), Pineapple Delights (Adventureland), Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes (Liberty Square), Macarons (Fantasyland), a Cookie Table (Tomorrowland), and Strawberry Tarts (Main Street U.S.A.).”
There will also be savory snacks to go along with all the sweets…and beverages such as sparkling apple juice, coffee, tea, and milk.
Making things even more interesting for this new After Fireworks Dessert Party is that the treats and snacks will also undergo changes depending on the time of year. For July 3-4, there will be patriotic themed treats for the Fourth of July fireworks.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will have treats themed to those holidays as well.
