The Universal Orlando Resort is bringing even more fun this summer and it is coming in the form of a new nighttime show. “Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration” will bring the movies to life on the lagoon and take things to an entirely different level.
On Friday morning, the Universal Orlando Resort revealed that the brand new show would take place in the heart of the lagoon at Universal Studios and begin this summer. No exact start date has been announced, but hopefully, we will get one soon.
Cinematic Celebration will bring forward moments from Harry Potter, Jurassic World, Despicable Me, The Fast & the Furious, and many other movie franchises.
Everything in Cinematic Celebration will be projected onto huge panoramic water screens which will be accompanied with pyrotechnics and more than 120 dancing fountains. The buildings around the lagoon and the entire waterfront will also have projection mapping to bring even more to viewers.
A permanent viewing area for Cinematic Celebration is also being built in the Central Park area of Universal Studios.
