Even though the big news this weekend is Toy Story Land, there is even more coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It was announced today that guests will be able to enjoy and take part in Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy.
It was announced today that the new show would be coming to DHS, and it would slow guests to interact with Lightning McQueen as well as his friends Mater and Cruz Ramirez.
The new attraction will take place inside of Sunset Showcase which opened next to Rock ‘N Roller Coaster back in 2015. Lightning McQueen will bring guests into the world of Cars and show off some of his greatest racing accomplishments.
Along with Cruz and Mater, guests will be shown some cool racing techniques thanks to a new simulator inside of Sunset Showcase. Guests can also expect some fun surprises during the show.
An exact opening date is not yet known, but Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is expected to open sometime in early 2019.
