Along with Toy Story Land’s opening on the horizon and the announcement of Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, there is even more. Today, Disney gave a look at some new concept art for Mickey And Minnie’s Runaway railway and it looks awesome.
Goofy will be your engineer as you Board a 2.5D Train attraction through the Chinese Theater whrrr the Great Movie Ride once stood. Disney states it will be unlike anything they’ve ever done before.
“This is one of the boldest, most impossible things I’ve ever worked on in almost 40 years of being an Imagineer. And you know what? That’s what I love about it. Well, that…and Mickey,” Walt Disney Imagineer Kevin Rafferty stayed. “This is not going to be a small attraction, it’s going to be game-changing.”
The new concept art shows a great look at the detail that will come about in The attraction modeled after the new animated shorts. Mickey And Minnie’s Runaway Railway will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios sometime in 2019.
