Fans are anxiously awaiting the release of the sequel to the 2013 hit Frozen, and Disney just made it bigger. While the main members of the original cast are already signed on to return, Disney has just added to two huge names to the cast of Frozen 2.
While the film doesn’t even have an official title as of yet, work is well underway on the sequel to Frozen which is due in theaters on Nov. 27, 2019. With Menzel, Bell, and Gad returning as Elsa, Anna, and Olaf…the star power is already there, but more doesn’t hurt.
Variety is reporting that Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown are both in talks to join Frozen 2 in yet unnamed roles. There is also no word on the exact plot of the second film, but that will likely come soon.
One interesting thing is that there is no mention of Jonathan Groff returning as Kristoff in the report, but he stated in July of last year that he was heading into the recording studio soon.
