Some of the things that guests love the most are the unique novelty items landing in Disney Parks and some of the best ones…come out at Halloween. It’s time to check out this year’s popcorn buckets, straws, and mugs which are landing in parks soon.
Popcorn buckets are always a huge deal and…they always bring huge lines. This year will likely be no different with the brand new Cauldron Premium Popcorn Bucket which will be available starting in mid-September 2018. It will be available at Disneyland Park, all four parks at Walt Disney World, and Disney Springs.
Speaking of long lines for popcorn buckets…you’re joking me?
Oogie Boogie is returning his year on the popcorn bucket that was so incredibly popular last year, and it’s even better for 2018. The original version of the Oogie Boogie Popcorn Bucket will be available at popcorn wagons in Disney California Adventure and New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park.
The “even better” portion of that is that a “new version” of the Oogie Boogie Popcorn Bucket will be available at Walt Disney World…but only during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It will arrive at Disneyland Resort later in the season.
But, that’s not all.
The regular popcorn buckets will have a brand new wrap (above) and it will be the same design on the new travel mugs too. You’ll be able to find them at numerous popcorn locations around Disneyland Park, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs.
The travel mug will be available at Disneyland Resort in the non-refillable version while the refillable version at Walt Disney World (only for the duration of your stay) will be available at all WDW Resort hotels.
Exclusively at Disney California Adventure, the regular popcorn buckets (below) will feature Oogie Boogie, the Headless Horseman, and all of your favorite DCA locations.
For those wanting a little extra spookiness to their drinks, the Poison Apple Glow Cube is returning this year and in three different colors. At Walt Disney World, the green version will be available at the AbracadaBar and Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar.
At Disneyland, guests can find the red version throughout the resort and a brand new purple version only available at Carthay Circle in Disney California Adventure.
Speaking of poison apples, we can’ forget the Green Poison Apple Stein which guests can find all around Disneyland resort and numerous locations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Last, but certainly not least, we have some awesome straw clips which may be some of my favorite novelty items coming this fall. First up, this Tire Pumpkin (Jack-O-Lantern) Straw is available at the Cozy Cone Motel and Flo’s V8 Cafe in Disney California Adventure.
Luckily for us on the east coast, it is also going to be at various quick-service locations in Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios too.
Finally, my favorite item is the Headless Horseman Straw Clip which is back for 2018 and can be found all around Disneyland Resort as well as in Magic Kingdom.
These Halloween novelty items such as the popcorn buckets, straws, glow cubes, and mugs are only available while supplies last. Also, they will only be available until the Halloween season ends…so, don’t miss out.
