The very popular hard-ticket event known as “Disney After Hours” is going to continue and it will be coming back for 2019. Not only that, some additional dates have been added to late 2018 to give guests extra time in Magic Kingdom during the holiday season this year.
Twenty-five of Magic Kingdom’s most popular attractions will be open during this event which will cost $125 (plus tax) when tickets are purchased in advance. If you purchase a ticket to “Disney After Hours” on the day of the event, it will cost $129 plus tax.
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and members of the Disney Vacation Club do receive discounted tickets. A theme park ticket/admission is not required to attend “Disney After Hours,” just the event ticket.
Here are the new dates and times for “Disney After Hours”.
The event takes place from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.:

- Monday, December 10, 2018
And 9:00 p.m. to midnight:
- Thursday, September 20, 2018
- Thursday, February 14, 2019
- Thursday, March 7, 2019
And 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.:
- Monday, January 7, 2019
- Thursday, January 17, 2019
- Thursday, January 24, 2019
- Monday, January 28, 2019
- Thursday, February 7, 2019
- Thursday, February 28, 2019
Guests will be able to enter Magic Kingdom at 7 p.m. with their “Disney After Hours” ticket.
One thing that guests need to understand is that this is not the same as Extra Magic Hours which are available to guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. This will not affect those in any way as “Disney After Hours” takes place on different nights and will not force the Magic Kingdom to close any earlier than is already scheduled.

So, “Disney After Hours” is not taking away any park hours or time from any guests at all. These events are in addition to regular park parks and not closing Magic Kingdom early in any way.
