It appears as if things are about to change on Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom. The current version of the Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party is reportedly going to have its final run later this year.
According to a report from WDW Magic, the final run of this version of Move It! Shake It! will be on Dec. 1, 2018, at Magic Kingdom.
There is no word on whether or not the parade is being scrapped entirely or being changed to a new version. The current version of Move It! Shake It! has been going on since 2014 with the original debuting back in 2009.
Now, it’s just a matter of waiting as there are no scheduled times for Move It! Shake It! on the official Walt Disney World website for December. Then again, there are none for most of November either.
Of course, until Disney officially gives word of any kind, anything is possible to change. For the time being, though, you’ll want to get your fill of the current Move It! Shake It! as you only have a few more months before it goes away entirely or at least changes.
