Walt Disney World is about to experience an unexpected cold spell with temperatures dipping down into the 30’s this week. That being said, guests will not be able to visit Typhoon Lagoon water park for two days this week as it will remain closed.
Typhoon Lagoon will stay closed and not open at all on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, and Wednesday, November 28, 2018.
The current forecasts have highs in the low 60’s and lows in the high 30’s on Tuesday with highs in the high 50’s and lows in the low 40’s on Wednesday. With those temperatures, Disney is just going to keep Typhoon Lagoon closed for the sake of guests and Cast Members.
As of this time, the park is expected to resume normal operation on Thursday. Blizzard Beach is currently closed during its annual refurbishment.
