The Tokyo Disney Resort is undergoing a huge expansion with new lands coming to their parks and now, a brand new place for guests to stay. It was revealed on Wednesday that the Toy Story Hotel is being built and it is scheduled to open to guests sometime in 2021.
There is already a Toy Story Hotel at the Shanghai Disney Resort, but it has proven popular enough to merit another one.
The Oriental Land Company announced on Wednesday that the new Toy Story-inspired hotel is going to bring 600 additional guest rooms to the Tokyo Disney Resort. The rooms will be “affordable” and “family-friendly.”
Rooms are going to be themed to that of Andy’s bedroom with “immersive features inspired by the world of Toy Story.” As part of the property, guests will also be able to enjoy a brand new restaurant and merchandise location.
While an exact opening date is not yet known and there is no official name, the “Toy Story Hotel” at Disney Tokyo Resort is expected to open in the fiscal year for the Oriental Land Company which technically runs until March 2022.
