Chef José Andrés doesn’t just have Jaleo opening up at Disney Springs this year, but guests can also make way for the first brick-and-mortar version of the popular food truck Pepe.
José Andrés ThinkFoodGroup announced today that they will be opening up Pepe at Disney Springs in the winter of 2019. It will indeed be the first-ever brick-and-mortar location of the popular food truck which is such a big hit in Washington D.C.
Pepe is going to be located right next to Jaleo on the West Side of Disney Springs, and it will have a great menu of hot and cold sandwiches showcasing the tastes of Spain.
Some of the delicious highlights include:
- Pollo Frito, made with breaded chicken breast, alioli, bravas sauce, piparra peppers, gem lettuce, and sherry dressing
- Serrano y Manchego, served on crispy Pan de Cristal with tomato fresco
- Bocata de Vegetales, made with roasted peppers, onion, green asparagus, spinach, and manchego cheese on Pan de Cristal
In addition to the sandwiches, Pepe will serve salads, soups and sides along with Spanish sangria.
