In case you somehow missed it, Disney released the trailer for Frozen 2 out of nowhere on Wednesday morning and the world went nuts. Not only did a lot of people watch it, but a lot of people watched it as it broke a record as the most-watched animated film trailer of all time.
Yes, Frozen 2 is the most watched animated film trailer of all time, and that happened in just the first 24 hours of its release.
Perhaps it could be that people are really loving it or numerous people could be watching it multiple times to break it down, but the trailer has been seen a lot. In the first 24 hours of its release, the trailer for Frozen 2 has been viewed 116.4 million times.
Currently, the largest ever domestic debut at the box office for an animated film is Incredibles 2 with $182.6 million in its opening weekend. No-one should really be shocked if Frozen 2 breaks that record come November.
Frozen earned $400.7 million domestically in 2013 and $1.2 billion worldwide.
