Big news out of Universal Orlando this morning as the opening date for the new roller coaster in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has been revealed. Guests will be able to check out loads of magical creatures with Hagrid, and it all begins this summer.
On Thursday morning, it was revealed that Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure will open on June 13, 2019, in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade inside of Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando.
There have not been a lot of details revealed for this new roller coaster, but the original concept art has now been updated. As you can see above, Hagrid’s motorbike has been added to track and he’s sitting at the helm to bring guests through the wilderness.
We can only hope that this new coaster will indeed have Hagrid, or some form of him, in that lead spot.
