There have been a number of LEGO sets from Disney and Lucasfilm and Marvel, but this may be one of the best ever. Later this year, LEGO will release a Steamboat Willie set which is absolutely perfect.

Finally, we have a release date for the Steamboat Willie set coming from LEGO and it will launch on April 1, 2019.

There is also a new pic of the iconic ship which will also include Minnie Mouse along with Mickey.

The Mickey Mouse Steamboat Willie LEGO set is one of very few that has been chosen for official release. Hundreds of thousands of ideas and suggestions are presented, but only a small handful actually ever get made.
Mate Szabo is the man responsible for the Steamboat Willie set which will be released in 2019 to honor Mickey Mouse for his 90th anniversary. As if the set needed to be any better or more perfect, it is in full-on black and white to stay authentic to the 1928 animated short.
There are no details yet on the pricing or exact release date, but we will keep you updated as we also want a Steamboat Willie LEGO set of our very own too.
