Last week, Disney finally announced the opening dates of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Now, there is going to be more info coming out as the months go on, but a special panel at the Star Wars Celebration Chicago will provide a good deal of it next month.
On April 13, 2019, Disney will present the “Bringing Star Wars to Life at Disney Parks” panel at the Star Wars Celebration Chicago.
Walt Disney Imagineering and some members from Lucasfilm will come together for the panel to share exciting new details about Galaxy’s Edge. They will share stories from the creation and build of the new land while Disney confirms there will be a “few surprises” as well.
From April 11-15, 2019, fans from around the world will gather in Chicago for the Star Wars Celebration for news, announcements, celebrity appearances, exclusive merchandise, and much more. The panel from Disney is only a small part of the celebration, but it will bring some huge and exciting news.
