Some new ticket prices have gone into effect as of today for Walt Disney World, but all of it isn’t nearly as drastic as it has been in past years. Back in October, date-based ticket pricing was introduced for multi-day tickets, and now, we see that changes are happening for the price of tickets to the parks later this year.
Tickets
As of this time, the ticket price increase does go in effect today – March 12, 2019.
As of now, the lowest Value 1-Day Ticket price is still $109.
Peak 1-day Tickets have raised to $159 which is up from the previous price of $129. This is an example taken from pricing during the week between Christmas and New Year’s which is the busiest of the entire year.
There have also been some price changes to multi-date tickets as well, but those were not as great. Some of those increases can be found to be in differing ranges with some even as little as $9.
There have been no changes in price to the Walt Disney World theme park Annual Passes. Water Park Annual Passes have gone up by $9 and they are now $139 as opposed to the previous price of $130.
Parking
There have been no changes to the prices of standard parking at any of the parks. Preferred parking does now have a tier system. Previously, all preferred parking was $50 total, but there are two seasons with these updates.
- Regular Season – preferred parking is $45
- Peak Season – preferred parking is $50
