As the opening date of May 31, 2019, approaches for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, there are plenty of preparations to be made. That includes getting Cast Members to fill some 1,400 positions in the new land and their reactions when the news was revealed to them is pure magic.

“I’m beyond excited,” said Maria Zamora, who will be working on the inaugural Galaxy’s Edge attractions team. “I’m so stoked. I can’t wait.”
1,400 Cast Members from around the Disneyland Resort applied and have been asked to work in Galaxy’s Edge. That also means that Disneyland Resort will be looking to hire 1,400 new Cast Members in attractions, entertainment, custodial, along with food and beverage for those now open positions throughout their two parks.
As Cast Members were invited to work in Galaxy’s Edge, though, Disney did record some of their reactions and they’re absolutely priceless.
