We recently told you that Rafiki’s Planet Watch would be reopening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this summer with some new advancements, but now, it will be even better. Beginning this July, guests will be able to enjoy the new “Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night” progressive dining experience which will provide you with the circle of life.
Guests will enjoy the experience by beginning with a welcome reception at the Wildlife Express Train Station which will provide hors d’oeuvres, snacks, and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) before hopping on the train for a ride to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
Once there, guests will be greeted by Timon and Rafiki while enjoying light bites and sips along with interactive activities for all ages.
After that time is up, guests will board the train again and head over to the Harambe Market for the best part of the evening. Throughout the Harambe marketplace, guests will find sweet and savory dishes along with a number of unique beverages to keep the fun going.
Throughout the evening, guests will not only enjoy the flavors in celebration of The Lion King but also learn about the Big Five game animals – the African elephant, the rhinoceros, the Cape buffalo, the leopard, and our host animal, the lion. Guests will also learn about their lives and the challenges the Big Five face daily while Disney helps to protect them.
“Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night” begins on July 24, 2019, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Pricing is $125 plus tax for adults and $99 plus tax for children ages 3-9 and separate park admission is required. Reservations can be made starting April 3 by calling 407 WDW-DINE (407 939-3463) or by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort Dining Page. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can receive early access to reservations starting on April 2 by calling 407 WDW-DINE (407 939-3463).
