We knew that Illuminations: Reflections of Earth would be ending near the end of this summer at Epcot, but we have not known exactly when that will be. Now, we are aware of when the final showing will be and just when its replacement, “Epcot Forever,” is set to begin.
During tonight’s live-stream of Illuminations, it was revealed that the two-decades-old show at Epcot would have its last ever performance on September 30, 2019.
“Epcot Forever” is set to make its debut the very next night on October 1, 2019. This will be the temporary show that is in place until the new permanent nighttime spectacular begins sometime in 2020.
