Huge news was announced yesterday for Disney’s Hollywood Studios as there was new concept art for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway as well as the new table-service restaurant coming to Toy Story Land. On Wednesday, the 30th anniversary of the park, Disney unveiled a brand new logo for Studios which will soon be up everywhere.
Wednesday, May 1, 2019, marked the 30th anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios and a celebration was held early that morning. Guests were able to watch some of their favorite Disney stars parade down and look back at the history of Walt Disney World’s third park.
Near the end of the presentation (full video below), a surprise announcement was made to unveil a brand new logo for Studios. DHS now has different lettering and features BB-8, Mickey Mouse, and Woody prominently on different letters.
Some concept art was also unveiled to show how the new logo will look on the iconic arch at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
It’s not exactly known when the new logo will begin appearing in different places around the park, but guests can expect to see it soon.
