As we all know, Pixar is moving away from sequels for a while after Toy Story 4 and focusing more on original films. Last month, we received our first trailer for Onward and now, we have learned that Soul will be hitting theaters in the summer of 2020.
There really isn’t a lot known about Soul as far as details or plot goes, but we do know that it will take viewers on a fantastic voyage. Soul will take you on a journey from the streets of New York City to the cosmic realms to discover the answers to life’s most important questions.
Here is the tagline for the newly announced Pixar film.
“Ever wonder where your passion, your dreams and your interests come from? What is it that makes you… YOU?”
Pete Docter is directing Soul and we all know about his Academy Awards for Inside Out and UP. There has not yet been any word on the voice cast.
Onward hits theaters on March 6, 2020, and Soul will be released on June 19, 2020.
