Guests know they can always go to the theme parks and some dining locations to meet characters at Walt Disney World, but now, there will be more. For a limited time, guests staying at select WDW Resort hotels need to be on the lookout as there could be some characters hanging about.
According to a report from WDWNT, characters will be appearing at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels for a limited time. These experiences will not be your run-of-the-mill character meet-and-greets, but more of a way for guests to interact with the characters in a more casual setting.
That could be anything from playing tag to hanging out by the pool or even enjoying a game of hide and seek. Below is where you’ll be able to find the characters for these limited time experiences.
Disney’s Beach & Yacht Club Resorts
Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and Goofy – Around the main pool area
Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and Goofy – Around the main pool area
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Chip and Dale – On the lawn area to play games
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Alice and Mad Hatter – Around the Mad Hatter Pool (kids’ play area)
- Mary Poppins – By the topiaries around the main pool
- Winnie the Pooh and Tigger – Various sidewalk areas around the resort
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch – On the lawn outside of the Great Ceremonial House
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Chip and Dale – On the lawn area around the resort
Again, these character interactions are for a limited time only and there don’t appear to be any set times for them to appear.
