Walt Disney World Entertainment Cuts Reportedly Coming Soon – Muppets History, Hakuna Matata Time, More

It appears as if some cuts are having to be made around Walt Disney World, and they are coming in the form of entertainment. Within the next few weeks, a number of favorite entertainment options will have performances taken away or be cut completely.

Due to what are being called cutbacks in operation, some entertainment offerings are on the way out across the Walt Disney World parks. It is believed that these changes and cuts will be going into effect on or by October 6, 2019.

Magic Kingdom

~ The Muppets Present Great Moments in American History is scheduled to come to an end. As of now, there are no showtimes listed after September 30, 2019.

~ The Royal Majesty Makers in Fantasyland will no longer be appearing. As of now, there are no showtimes listed after September 30, 2019.

~ Move It! Shake It! Mousekedance It! Street Party is expected to move from three showtimes per day and down to two.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

~ The Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party is going to be coming to an end. As of now, there are no showtimes listed after September 28, 2019.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

~ Lightning McQueen’s Pit Crew will no longer be appearing at Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy.

~ The Incredibles Super Shindig will be coming to an end.

As of this time, Disney has not confirmed nor said anything regarding these entertainment cutbacks. It is possible that things could change with these entertainment offerings continuing on a reduced schedule or not being affected at all.
