For those who may not be aware, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and has been drawing huge crowds. Due to the immense amount of guests arriving in the morning of each day, hours have now been extended for the next month.
Ever since opening this past Thursday (December 5, 2019), Boarding Groups for Rise of the Resistance have been all filled up by 9 A.M. at the latest. Now, Disney is only allowing guests to have one boarding group per day, for at least the time being.
That being said, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has now extended morning hours for all guests and the park will be opening at 8 A.M. beginning December 9, 2019, and going through January 4, 2020.
Extra Magic Hours on Sunday mornings will still be only for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests.
Even with the scheduled opening of the park in the mornings, you will still want to possibly arrive early. That will help you get a Boarding Group pass before they are all gone and filled up on My Disney Experience.
