There have been some weird rumors and such going around about Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but it isn’t going anywhere. The popular water raft attraction is closing for a refurbishment in January, though, and it’s going to be down for a while.
Kali will go down for refurbishment beginning on January 6, 2020, and it will be closed for nearly three months. The last day of refurbishment is March 20, 2020, and it is tentatively scheduled to reopen to guests on March 21, 2020.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
