New Background Music Arrives In Epcot’s World Showcase And It Is Much More Disney

The transformation of Epcot is going to incorporate a lot more of Disney movie content into the park, but it won’t just be imagery. Some guests may have already heard it, but Disney movie music is starting to flow through the speakers in the pavilions around World Showcase.

When walking around World Showcase, guests usually hear music that is representative of the country they are in. While that is still going to be true, the difference is that the music will now be of the Disney variety as well.

Currently, three countries have new music which includes arrangements from Disney and Pixar movies.

France is playing songs such as “Be Our Guest” and “Human Again” from Beauty and the Beast. There are also songs from Ratatouille and The Aristocats to keep things going with a bit of variety.

In Mexico, there is a music loop which does include “Remember Me” from the hit movie Coco.

Over in China, guests have heard songs from Mulan playing as they wander around and enjoy all that the pavilion has to offer.

I don’t like the Disneyfication of Epcot that’s going on. I loved the original theme music throughout the park, “adultness” of the attractions, and just the uniqueness of the park. I do think it needed an update , but not in the direction it’s going. Epcot, I’m gonna miss ya.
