Major changes have been happening all around Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and they’re far from done. Citricos dining location will soon begin a refurbishment as well, but the restaurant is set to remain open throughout the work being done.
Work on Citricos will begin this month (January 2020), but the truly noticeable work will begin in February. At that point, the bar will closed and the menu for Citricos will be somewhat altered due to the changes taking place in the kitchen areas.
Come May, part of the dining room will be closed off at different times to have work done around the restaurant.
The refurbishment at Citricos will continue on in phases with an expected completion date of sometime in the summer of 2020.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
