For more than a decade, children have loved transforming into a rascally scallywag at The Pirate’s League in Magic Kingdom, but that will soon come to an end. It has now been announced that the Walt Disney World location will be permanently closing later this year.
At the end of July 26, 2020, The Pirate’s League will officially close its doors for good.
The location situated next to Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland opened back in the summer of 2009. It allowed young guests to receive a makeover that turned them into pirates and has always been extremely popular.
There has been no word as to what will replace Pirate’s League, but Disney does have plans for the empty space.
