I love Disney through and through and have been an AP holder since 2014, I think. I am on several of the sites on FB and honestly, I find it so sad that people are still planning vacations. I went to the parks the last day on the 14th and really, I regret it now. I have been blessed not to be infected yet and noone I know is infected. I don’t know what I was thinking then. Disney will make up there lost revenue. I am reading the attitudes already and the complaining and it is sickening. We are facing a Global Pandemic and how people can make reservations to go to Disney is disturbing. My faith keeps me hopeful that this pandemic will end soon. I hope all the CM’s are safe and I was very glad to hear they are being paid. The CM’s are the real pixie dust. Thank you and be safe !

    • You don’t think Disney is going to wait until all of this is over and that it is safe for guests to return until they reopen? That’s the reason that they have said that the parks are closed “until further notice.” Just because they are offering up this discount doesn’t mean they are going to open up as soon as it starts even if things are unsafe for guests and Cast Members.

You find it disturbing that people want to have some semblance of peace and enjoyment in their lives? You find it disturbing that people would like to have hope for the future and something to look forward to when they are stuck in their own homes and not able to leave? Sure, we don’t know when this time will pass or when things will get better, but the majority of people are not going to put themselves in danger even if they are looking ahead to some normalcy in their lives.

If you find it “disgusting,” you don’t have to think of anything but your very next moment. That is perfectly acceptable and no-one will fault you for it. Therefore, you shouldn’t fault anyone for just wanting to have something good and fun and enjoyable to look forward to…even if they aren’t sure they’ll be able to do it.
