Academy Award winner Taika Waititi will direct and co-write a brand new Star Wars feature film set for theatrical release. Academy Award nominee Krysty Wilson-Cairns will join him in writing the screenplay.
For those who may not be familiar with the work that he’s already done in the galaxy, Waititi did direct the first season finale of The Mandalorian on Disney+.
