ABC is looking to fill its primetime schedule without a lot of new content to air. That being said, they are bringing back The Wonderful World of Disney for a series of theatrical movies which will begin airing later this month.
The Wonderful World of Disney will begin again on May 20, 2020, and it will run on Wednesday evenings for four weeks. The four movies that will air are all on Disney+, but old-school fans will love experiencing this showcase of movies once again.
The Wonderful World of Disney will air:
- May 20 – Moana
- May 27 – Thor: The Dark World
- June 3 – Pixar’s Up
- June 10 – Big Hero 6
Without new content from other shows and the NBA Finals not taking place as usual in June, ABC needs something to run.

so is ABC pushing back the Agents of SHIELD final season premiere then or will it air before/after Thor, Up, and BH6 respectively
I’ve been wondering if they would ever bring it back. I think the younger generation is going to love seening them and where Disney started. Thank you Disney
I hope not only do they bring back the show, but the older movies too. all the ones they have scheduled to show are new.
