ABC is looking to fill its primetime schedule without a lot of new content to air. That being said, they are bringing back The Wonderful World of Disney for a series of theatrical movies which will begin airing later this month.
The Wonderful World of Disney will begin again on May 20, 2020, and it will run on Wednesday evenings for four weeks. The four movies that will air are all on Disney+, but old-school fans will love experiencing this showcase of movies once again.
The Wonderful World of Disney will air:
- May 20 – Moana
- May 27 – Thor: The Dark World
- June 3 – Pixar’s Up
- June 10 – Big Hero 6
Without new content from other shows and the NBA Finals not taking place as usual in June, ABC needs something to run.
