Walt Disney World Now Only Accepting Reservations For July 1st And After – Summer Discount Available

A couple of days ago, the Disneyland Resort pushed back its booking of new reservations to July 1, 2020. Now, Walt Disney World has followed their example is only accepting new reservations starting on that date as well.

In recent weeks, different guidelines have come from the Florida government regarding the reopening of the state. Obviously, some of those restrictions have caused Walt Disney World to push back its reopening date.

Disney Springs is going to begin its phased reopening on May 20, 2020, but that is only for third-party vendors as of this time.

Here are the details known as of this time from Walt Disney World:

Cancellations due to closures
Disney has been regularly notifying Guests whose Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort hotel bookings are being impacted by our temporary closures, letting them know they may modify or cancel their Disney Resort hotel reservations or Walt Disney Travel Company packages.

Please know that for those who have booked with My Mickey Vacation Travel, you can contact your Dream Designer for information. They will guide you in the most informed way possible and help you with all your needs.

For guests who are interested in modifying their existing travel dates or making a new reservation for a future vacation, reservations are currently available for arrival dates July 1, 2020 and later.

At Walt Disney World Resortguests wishing to make new reservations can save up to 25% on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels for stays most nights through August 31, 2020, when they book through August 31, 2020.

This is a room-only discount which is available to the general public, and not only those affected by trip cancellations or park closures.

  1. I love you guys for all help and Correct information I can find in this group

  2. Safety first. To all the guests knowing that sanitized procedures and safety spaces in place and keeping the guests safe is numero uno. But let’s not forget about all the dedicated employees whom were with out work in Florida furloughed by Disney World with out pay no income no work and probably still waiting for unemployment benefits. Well keep waiting we know how that works. But all the Disney executive office staff is still getting compensation im sure of it . You see you as a customer pay the salaries for these executives in paying excessive fees like parking 20.00 on top of admission plus food and lodging which is extremely expensive with added fees on top of an already expensive room charge then add the ridiculous parking fees resort tax Florida hospitality tax wow you haven’t even stepped foot in the park yet and your out a alot of money. What about the gift shops over priced, I think soo. Welll when Disney opens it’s gates think about all those employees working for barely 10.00 an hour that’s right 10.00 hour mostly part timers living way under the medium of salaries usually living in less affluent city’s Kissimmee or st cloud almost 30-45 minutes from Lake buena Vista. So think about it. Should we support that. They should pay more to these employee’s like 15-18 hour full time. Waive the parking to all guests hotel and theme parks and cut admission to 50 percent to all Florida residents. You see they do business in Florida give back during this unfortunate crisis we are facing in our great country the USA. Tell them uncle Phil sent you.
