It appears as if the NBA heading toward Walt Disney World to continue its season is closer to becoming a reality. Apparently, WDW is already re-working some of its hotel spaces for the NBA and their needs for a possible start in mid-July.
Different sources, including those from Disney, are saying that the NBA is prepping to continue its 2019-2020 season soon. If all works out, the teams will head to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World.
Nothing has been officially announced, and Disney has not yet confirmed this, but things are definitely heading in that direction.
With the amount of resort hotel rooms available at Walt Disney World, there would not be many problems with this move. All of the necessary rooms for the NBA teams and their staff could easily be housed at just one of their many resorts.
Hopefully, we will have more concrete information on the NBA heading to Disney soon, but things are certainly heading in that direction.
