Topolino’s Terrace To Be Only Character Dining Location Upon Walt Disney World Reopening

Walt Disney World is scheduled to reopen some of its resorts later this month and its theme parks in July. Due the unprecedented circumstances, character dining has been temporarily discontinued, but not everywhere. If you’re looking to dine with Mickey and friends, Topolino’s Terrace will be the place.

Upon the reopening of Walt Disney World Resort, a number of changes will be in place. The official website of Walt Disney World has revealed some things to know.

Character dining is not going to to be offered during the initial reopening, with the exception of Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort. It will be a “modified experience,” but exact details on that are not yet known.

It is possible that much like at Shanghai Disneyland, characters could come around to each table and pose for solo pictures. More on how this will all work should be known soon.

Here are the other dining changes that guests need to know:

  • Menu items may vary. For specific menu information, check the restaurant’s online menu when the restaurant reopens.
  • Dinner shows will not be offered during the initial reopening.
  • Dining locations will be limited in capacity. Some locations will remain temporarily closed.
  • Private dining and in-room delivery will not be offered during the initial reopening window.
  • Mobile order service will be offered at select quick-service dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World theme parks (when open), Disney Springs, and select Disney Resort hotels.
