Annual Passholders at Walt Disney World will soon get a little thrown their way very soon. Beginning this week, park pass availability is going to open up and give them more opportunities to visit some of the parks.
Annual Passholders at Walt Disney World can still only book three days in the Disney Park Pass System outside of any resort stays. The good news is that they don’t need to wait until next month for openings to appear.
According to Scott Gustin, Disney is going to increase the number of park reservations available to Annual Passholders beginning July 16, 2020. This is going to include more dates for Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom in July and August.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will not have additional dates added.
Disney has confirmed that this will “NOT reflect an increase in capacity at parks.”
Due to the park capacity not increasing with this move, it appears obvious what is being done. Disney is taking some of the available days for resort guests and daily ticket holders, and reallocating them for Annual Passholders.
