Last summer at the D23 Expo, Disney made a ton of huge announcements and one was for the new DVC property named Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge. Many rumors have been flying as to the status of that resort, but the latest revelation doesn’t have things looking good for it.
Scott Gustin went back to look at the announcements from last year’s D23 Expo, and Reflections is no longer listed.
It appears this change to the D23 Expo article took place at some point during the first week of August 2020. What this means is not exactly known, but it doesn’t look good for Reflections.
A few years ago, Disney did something similar with their announcement page from D23 Expo in 2017. The Main Street Theater project was on there and then removed after it was canceled, but no official public word ever came from Disney.
The Reflections Lodge has not been officially canceled as of this time, but only time will tell.
