The annual refurbishment of the Liberty Square Riverboat is coming up, and it is happening very soon.
Each year around the end of August, the Liberty Square Riverboat undergoes a refurbishment. It took place in 2019 and was only a short week-long downtime. The same is happening in 2020, and it is coming up very soon.
The refurbishment is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 24, 2020, and run through August 30, 2020. It is tentatively scheduled to reopen to guests on Monday, August 31, 2020.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
