Virtual Waiting Room And Table-Service Wait Times Coming Soon To My Disney Experience

The My Disney Experience app is about to make things a bit easier for guests wanting to dine at Walt Disney World. Soon, guests will be able to see walk-up wait times in the app and also join a virtual waiting room for dining locations.

Coming soon will be two new functions to the My Disney Experience app, and they are both focused on dining.

The first will be the ability for guests to join a virtual waiting room. This will allow them to join that virtual room instead of having to walk up to the podium at a dining location and inquire about open tables. This is will be limited to parties of seven guests or less.

Guests with larger parties who can’t join the virtual waiting room can still ask about availability at the restaurant podium.

The second new function will be the ability to see wait times for walk-ups at table-service locations.

An exact date for these new functions to start has not been released yet, but they should arrive soon. Keep up with us and make sure to keep your My Disney Experience app updated at all times.
