Universal Orlando Resort is keeping a number of resort hotels closed through the end of the year, and even more changes are on the way. Beginning September 8, 2020, Volcano Bay water park will be closed two days a week until at least the end of the year.
As of September 8, Volcano Bay will remain closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week. The last Thursday the park will be open this year is September 4.
On the park ticket calendar, Tuesdays and Thursdays are shown as “Sold Out” through the end of 2020. Guests can simply not purchase tickets on those days.
As always, things are subject to change, but you will need to plan as if Volcano Bay won’t be open on Tuesday or Thursday.
