Despite not yet knowing a reopening date for Disneyland or Disney California Adventure, there are still things to do at the Disneyland Resort. On December 6, 2020, guests will also have a place to stay as the Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will reopen.
According to a letter sent to DVC members, the phased reopening will continue at Disneyland Resort. The theme parks and hotels remain closed, but the Downtown Disney shopping district has been open for some time.
In the letter, Disney has a positive look at the things to come, and hopes for more soon. The non-DVC portion of the hotel along with the entirety of Paradise Pier Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel will remain closed at this time.
More information regarding the DVC portion of Grand Californian reopening will be sent to DVC members soon. There will be capacity limits in the resort and dining locations within. Face coverings will still be required throughout.
