Even though the lengthy refurbishment of Spaceship Earth was put on indefinite hold at EPCOT, the work is still coming in the future. Now, we have also found out that the iconic attraction will receive an enhanced lighting package to make the “grand and miraculous spaceship” even more gorgeous.
Imagineer Zach Riddley has said that this new “enhanced lighting package” will be installed on the outside of Spaceship Earth. Customized programming will be used to bring the evenings to life on the exterior of EPCOT’s icon.
There is no set date for when this will start and details are very scarce, but it is exciting to know what’s on the way.
