After more than a year of being closed, it appears as if the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover (Wedway) is about to finally reopen.
Closed before the park closures in March of 2020, the Peoplemover has continued to extend its refurbishment numerous times. The last time it was extended, the date was pushed through all of April 2021, but would it really reopen on time?
While anything is possible, it appears as if the reopening of the Peoplemover is actually happening earlier than expected. Of course, that is if Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle has true inside knowledge (wink).
Testing has continued for weeks, and we truly hope one of our favorite Walt Disney World attractions is finally ready.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
