The Walt Disney World Resort is going to be removing temperature checks from all locations on property later this month.
The Orange County Health Department has recently deemed temperature checks as an unnecessary waste of resources for businesses. Walt Disney World is going along with this and will begin making the change later this week.
On May 8, 2021, temperature checks will no longer be necessary for Cast Members. On May 16, 2021, guests will no longer need to have their temperature taken to enter the theme parks or resort hotels.
