Movies modeled after popular Disney Parks’ attractions is something that fans love, and this one will likely be no exception. A new report states that Scarlett Johansson is set to star in and produce a film based on the Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror.
According to Collider, Josh Cooley is writing the script for what will be a brand new movie about the Tower of Terror. It is not said to be a remake of the 1997 cult classic Tower of Terror starring Steve Guttenberg, Kirsten Dunst, and Melora Hardin.
Plot details for Tower of Terror are being kept close to the vest, but Josh Cooley (Inside Out writer, Toy Story 4 director) is penning the script. Johansson’s production company These Pictures will produce the new film. There is no director yet known for the movie.
There is no release date or even a production start date for Tower of Terror, but hopefully, we will know more soon.
