Disney Dining Plan Confirmed To Return To Walt Disney World At A ‘Later Date’

With all of the great announcements of new benefits coming for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, there was one more thing to mention. Many have wondered about the return of the Disney Dining Plan, and we now know that will indeed be coming.

Ever since the Walt Disney World theme parks closed for the pandemic in March of 2020, there has been no Disney Dining Plan. Numerous guests have missed the great add-on to their resort stays, and Disney has confirmed that it will return.

On Wednesday, Disney did not really give any details or even a date of the dining plan’s return, but we have a bit of a teaser. Here is what they had to say:

“Speaking of Disney Resort hotel stays, we know many of you are also wondering when Disney dining plan packages will return. While we’re not quite ready to share an update on timing, we are planning to bring this guest-favorite option back at a later date. We will also continue to reopen more Resort offerings, including restaurants like ‘Ohana (with the noodles!).”
