Tim Allen is working with Disney once again, and this time…it’s for the red suit and not the green one. Allen will star in and executive produce a Disney+ original limited series which will be a sequel to The Santa Clause.
The Santa Clause (working title) will tell the tale of Scott Calvin (Allen) who realizes he can’t be Santa Claus forever. As he realizes that he doesn’t want to take away from his family or the children of the world, SC sets out to find a suitable replacement to wear the big red suit.
Allen will executive produce the series with Jack Burditt, creator of the Allen-starring Last Man Standing. Production on the new series is set to begin in Los Angeles in March, but there is no word yet on when it will be released.
