A couple of the most beloved parts of “Festival of The Lion King” will soon be back in action at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. On July 16, 2022, the Tumble Monkeys and aerial dancing birds will be back on the big stage.
Disney announced the news on Tuesday morning, and we can’t wait to see them tumbling and flying around again.
“It…is…TIME! The tumble monkeys will be up to their acrobatic hijinks again starting July 16. And it gets even better – the birds will also be stretching their wings again to soar above the stage! Are you ready for the return of the Festival of The Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom?”
The birds have been dancing on the ground since the show returned but not up in the air. The Tumble Monkeys have been totally absent since the show reopened, and this will be their triumphant return.
