The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror will soon undergo some refurbishment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. That being said, we have some good news and some bad news to drop on you.
No pun intended.
Refurbishment is currently being done on the elevator shafts of the Tower of Terror, according to attraction Cast Members. This will result in the attraction operating at half capacity for some time.
Due to this work being done, wait times will likely increase due to guests only being able to use one side of Tower. After work is completed on one side, it is expected to begin on the other.
It isn’t yet known how long this refurbishment will continue, but it is expected to be for quite a while.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
